Organic Medium-chain triglycerides C8 99% derived from coconut:
1. Actions on Deforestation: We are arranging a plantation day every 3 months. On the plantation day we donate 30-40 new plants (E.g.: coconut plants, jack tree plants, teak plants etc.). The villagers are happily involved in our tree planting activity and we have a plan to increase it to 500 plants a year.
2. Conditions for workers: We have provided gender-based washrooms, a common canteen with filtered water. We allow flexible hours of working and the employees are allowed to leave the factory for their personal needs on prior approval basis. We provide the staff medical facilities, insurance and financial assistance in upbringing their children with better quality education (E.g.: scholarship programs etc).
3. Actual CO2 emissions and counter initiatives in terms of compensation: We use day light energy for our factory premises and the only CO2 emission is occurring from our forklifts operation. Our head office is fully powered by a solar power generating system with a battery backup. We use electric vehicles for mobility (covering 75% daily transportation of our management staff).
