Statement
Climate change is not a political conviction but a fact. Whether it’s solely caused by humans or in combination with natural phenomenons, can be discussed. However, this doesn’t remove the obligation from mankind quite the contrary. Our abilities make us responsible for the wellbeing of our planet.
Therefore, do we as humans have the obligation of taking care of this planet on behalf of all species and generations to come.
Our actions matter. Action in terms of restructuring company and state operations as well as thinking climate into new ventures. The first step is knowledge, we need to measure what our effects are and thereafter measure how we can compensate for our impact. We need to be real with our measurements and not glorify our findings, it needs to be de facto. No company is 100% green at this point. A subcontractor producing parts for you in another corner on the planet is also your responsibility. It is time to be realistic for the sake of our shared future.
Canavita Labs is not 100% green. We may never be. This is not a defeat but a source of motivation - we will continue to make our best efforts in coming as close as possible.
We strive to measure as much of our operation as possible and we do it with honesty. This also allows us to be transparent, as well as it give ourselves a more accurate picture of where we can do better and act upon it.
We strive to be a leading example together with our partners to drive people, corporations and even states in a greener direction. This may be setting the bar high, but regarding climate, ambitions can never be high enough.
To be more green doesn’t necessarily mean higher costs but sometimes it will and we can no longer consistently prioritize profits above climate. It is time for change.

Canavita Labs strives to contribute to following United Nations goals
Outdoor growing
Sustainable outdoor growing gives the hemp the ability to absorb CO2 while growing 5-6 months on the field before harvest in autumn. Furthermore there is no direct deforestation in the process of establishing the hemp fields since it is former tobacco fields that has been converted.
Biomass waste used as compost
After use the biomass is transportet to the local recycling station where the biomass together with additional local garden garbage is turned into compost for the locals to use in their home gardens. This way the used biomass can contribute to local biodiversity.
Reuse of filter bags
In phase 1 of the extraction process we use filter bags. In order to ensure as sustainable production as possible the filter bags is reused op to approximately 10 times.
certified organic in the future
The products Canavita Labs produces are 95% organic but not 100% yet. Canavita Labs is working towards the goal of being able to certify our products as organic. We're not there yet but we are very close and expect to reach this certification in 2024.
